I just posted this on BHB but just thought I'd ask the 07ers too!!

Anyone have a sample of the poem they used to ask there BM to be part of the wedding....

here is what i used

For the MOH

You have always been there, more than just a friend.
You know just who I am and everywhere I've been.

You're the one who I can turn to, any hour of the day.
Seems, I only have to think of you and you'll be on your way.

No matter where life takes me, no matter where I roam.
When I'm with you my friend, my heart feels right at home.

So on my wedding day, I will need you more than ever.
Please say you'll be my maid of honor .... and my friend forever

For the BM

In just a little while

Patrick and I will walk down the aisle

Nothing would give me more joy inside

Than to you have you by my side

Jenn, will you be my bridesmaid?

Professing true love
To my husband-to-be
With family and friends
All watching me

I hope the sun will
Be shining down,
