Bridesmaid presents

Just curious - what is everyone is getting their bridesmaids for presents? I'm looking for some unique ideas, if anyone has any. Thanks!

Re: Bridesmaid presents

I'd like to get them simple jewelry and I have seen cute totes with initials on them....Avon had a cute vinyl one, I saw canvas ones in Lillian Vernon with a monogramed leather tag. I have 8 girls so I must try not to spend too much.

Monique from Frills and Yummies is wonderful. She not only made my cards but also my BM tote bags. I also brought GM, Parents, etc. cards and a Bridal tote bag for me and a tote bag for my mom.

I'm getting them the totes NYlisa posted and pashmina's which they can use that day and after the wedding. Depending on what my budget is like I may also get swarovski pendants.

I've also bought fun Halloween stuff for their totes.

i'm having custom made jewlery made for each of them and i think i am going to buy them individual bags that compliment their personalities.

What about us girls on budgets or with large BP....I need to keep it simple!

btrflygrl: There are plenty of things to do on a budget. Here is one idea... I will think of more.

A pair of earrings to match their dress (as low as $10 a piece I am sure). i.e. Macy's just had a huge jewelry sale. Go in and ask when they plan on having their next one (or get on the mailing list).

Edited to say: Just saw a commercial, Macy's is having a sale on jewelry now until sunday. 30%-50% off with an additional 10-15% off.

LuckyLucy: I love the bracelet, where did you find it?

Re: Bridesmaid presents

KarenB: Thanks!

I found it in Neiman Marcus. It retails for roughly $350.00. I can't afford this bracelet for 5 girls, so I am having it custom made. My neighbor is an aspiring jewelry designer and is re-creating it for me. I just loved the design... I have to have it!!

Edited to say: Unfortunately, I cannot give out my neighbors contact information to the other brides. I feel badly about this... so I thought of an idea if you want custom jewelry made. Find out where jewelry design classes are being held (i.e. parsons school of design in NYC) and post a flyer. You would be surprised how cheap the beads/pearls are and I am sure that a student would love to make something for the actual cost of the bracelet and a little extra money for their time. My neighbor took one look at my bracelet and said... NO PROBLEM!

I just found this necklace on www.exclusivelyweddings.com
It says it has a coordinating bracelet as well.

Re: Bridesmaid presents

luckylucy...thanks for that website....I found a lot of things I liked and the prices are very reasonable! Do you happen to know if the pearls are real or not? I'm truly grateful for that website....you just saved me a lot of worrying!

Re: Bridesmaid presents

Not unique, but I had jewlery made to match the design on their dresses. It is a very interesting pattern of white sapphire drops that look like snow falling (I have a winter-wedding).
