Bridesmaid questions

So is it customary to have a bridesmaid brunch or luncheon? We are doing gifts at the rehearsal dinner, but I was just wondering.

Also, If my girls are getting their nails done with me the day before, should I be paying????

I'm so confused, but I dont want to be rude!

i didnt do a brunch.. i've been in a few BP and never heard of it until LIW...

like you said most of the time the gifts are given out at the RD..

as far as paying for hair and make up - you are not obligated too...

i have never been to a brunch either the next day.. im not doing one either, the whole wedding is just so much, how much more can you do....
the RD is just fine!!!!

and about the nails.. you are not obligated to pay for them, but thats your choice.. im sure the girls wont expect you to pay

I agree, I don't think it's a necessity.

Besides, you don't need the stress to try to coordinate 5 people to go to lunch/brunch at the same time. It's hard enough getting them together to go look at dresses.
