bridesmaid shoe color

Hi ladies,

I had a shift in color theme..and i'm torn with what color shoe to tell the girl to get.

I had originally told them to get silver shoes, but now my colors are ivory, champagne & pale spring colors. The bridesmaids are wearing a soft purple color. The silver shoes just don't go with the scheme anymore.

In an ideal world, they'd all get their shoes dyed...but is that asking for too much these days? I'm feeling so so guilty about asking them to dye shoes...but unless they're getting the perfect color champagne shoe..i'd be happiest with a dyed shoe. My sisters are all for the dying...but I know the other girls won't be happy about it.

Honest opinions of what you think. The dress is long...jut an fyi.

do you want all the girls to exactly match? if you do then I would have them dyed. If your ok with each of them expressing themselves with what they like then just tell them to all get shoes that are champagne colored and it will be ok if theyre slightly different. this way they can get shoes theyre comfortable in..

I think silver or champagne would look fine with a purple dress. I'm not a big fan of dyable shoes and the girls will never be able to wear them again. I'm doing black bridesmaid dresses and the girls can wear any type of black shoe.

If you want the shoes dyed have them dyed. Maybe to make it easy on them if they bought the shoes already offer to dye them. That was they wont go crazy and you get what you want.

Just make sure you are positive about the color change
