I just told them to wear any black shoe they have. We are having long dresses so they won't be seen!
It depends on what dress I pick. If it's a short dress where you can see the shoes, I'm going to want them to have the same shoe. Otherwise, I'll give them a color and they can choose whatever.
I told my girls they can wear whatever shoes they want as long as they are black. Their dresses are cranberry and although Silver would have looked nice, I didn't want anyone to feel they had to get a pair of shoes they may never wear again. So I decided on black. Everyone either has a pair of black shoes in their closet already or can use a pair.

my girls dresses are short and were very inexpensive. So this allowed spending room for them to buy all the same shoes in silver to go with their navy dresses.
i gave them the swatch of the pink I want. IDK what kind of shoe they wear just as long as color is close as can be

I am letting them pick their own show as long as it was died the color of the dress. I too have the problem of varying heights, and I want my girls to be comfortable!
My dresses were a pale yellow and we decided on a nude pump. I like the uniformity in color but they don't have to be the same style. One of my BM's wanted a very high heel and another had just given birth so her feet were swollen, so this gave everyone the chance to choose a shoe they were comfortable in.
My girls are wearing navy and I told them to get any type of nude shoe they wanted because I knew they'd wear it again.
Thanks everyone! I think I will let them pick their own or wear whatever they have. Their dresses are long and black ...I was thinking I'd pick a flat shoe and a heeled shoe and let them pick from those, but their dresses were pricey and I kind of feel bad doing that. Lol :)
The BM dress are plum and long. I'm having them pick any silver shoes that they are comfortable wearing.

They can get whatever shoe they want either in blue or ivory since both those colors are in the dress.
I just told them to buy a strappy silver shoe. I really dont require them to be the same style.
I told my girls I would like black shoes. I'll leave the style up to them.
