Bridesmaid Shoes

I don't want to be a totally Bridezilla, but I think dyed shoes look much classier than silver. I also think it looks much more uniform when all the girls have the same shoe. Am I being a bit much? lol

Should I let the girls pick out their own individual shoes? And let them wear silver as opposed to having them dyed (my dresses are in Pewter btw)?

Thoughts?!

I think if they are wearing full length gowns then they should be able to choose whichever shoe they want. If they are shorter dresses, sometimes it looks nicer to all have one style shoe.

It totally depends. Like StephanieXO said if it's a long dress they should definitely get to wear whatever shoes they want.

If the dresses are short, I think shoes need to be roughly the same color and similar styles but don't need to be exactly the same. ie: one girl can't wear nude cork wedges and another girl wears nude stillettos. Either both need to be a variety of nude cork wedges or nude stilletos. Does that make sense?

I just told them wear black shoes. It's a winter wedding & they're wearing long dresses, chances are I won't see their feet, and we'll have flip flops at the reception.

I think the shoes should match BUT I have to disagree with the dye! I think the dyed shoe is overkill, too matchy-matchy for me personally but it's your wedding put them in what you want

One wedding I was in let us pick whatever shoe we wanted as long as they were silver..

Another wedding let us pick our shoe but dye them.

I am suggesting silver (bling) flip flops... if the shorter girls are more comfy in a silver strappy heel I wont kill them for it.

My color scheme is Marine/Silver and white so the silver shoes are part of the scheme..(Girls Dresses are marine)

I personally kind of hate dyed shoes... lol i'm asking my girls just to wear nude pumps. I think if your dresses are long, shoes aren't a huge deal.

I agree with this, but it's just my preference. When I was a BM I was in a long gown and could wear any shoe I wanted as long as it was white.
