Bridesmaid Shoes

I don't want to be a totally Bridezilla, but I think dyed shoes look much classier than silver. I also think it looks much more uniform when all the girls have the same shoe. Am I being a bit much? lol

Should I let the girls pick out their own individual shoes? And let them wear silver as opposed to having them dyed (my dresses are in Pewter btw)?

Thoughts?!

It's your day, so you can do what you want. If you want them to have dyed shoes, maybe you can let them pick out the style as long as it's dyeable? That might be a good compromise.

yea that's true. Any maybe just tell them all to either pick a closed or open toe shoe.

Looks like we're going to have the same anniversary date haha- March 15th!

What did you have your girls do Pinkisles? Were your bridal shoes expensive at Casa di Mario?

Do you have long dresses? If so, the shoes will hardly show. Let the girls choose a comfortable style and just give them basic guidelines.

I don't remember the exact amount but they were under $100 and the dying was included in the price. I think maybe they were around $75?

I had my bridal party choose their own shoes, so long as they were black. One of my girls chose a really ugly pair, but that is her fashion sense. No one was looking at her shoes anyway. I know they weren't thrilled about having to wear hot pink, so I didn't want to force them to buy shoes to match.

and March 15th is a great date :D

I felt bad having my girls dye shoes that I know they will never wear so I said any silver shoe would be fine. They also had long dresses. I have 2 dyeable pairs of shoes in my closet collecting dust LOL

I wore matching shoes for my brother's wedding since that's what SIL wanted all the girls to do. She said it looked better in pictures which didn't make sense as the photographer didn't take pictures of our feet and now I have purple shoes that I prob. won't wear again. She asked what shoes I wanted the BP to wear for my wedding so I told her so long its navy, black or silver, whatever they have at home to save them $$. It doesn't matter since the dress is long anyway, no one will be looking at your feet.

My girls are wearing short dresses and I told the girls to buy any silver strappy sandal they want. I want them all to be comfortable so they will be able to pick their heel height. And they can also pick the price range they are willing to spend on shoes. I figure silver shoes can be worn again. I have a closet full of dyeable shoes I know I will never wear again.

I had the girls pick their own style of open toed silver shoes because I know for a fact my sister wanted a low heel and his sister likes a higher heel. They had purple tea lenght dresses and I thought they all looked great. So now they have silver shoes they can wear again.

It was sunny but a bit cold. It wasn't anything unbearable but I didn't get as many outdoor pics as I would like because my bridesmaids were freezing.

I'm a human furnace so I was fine :P

I was just glad it didn't rain, the next day it was raining!

This is the shoe I bought for my brother's wedding to wear with my bridesmaid dress. Does anyone need a size 6.5?
