Bridesmaid shopping

Bridesmaid shopping

I am going with my girls this weekend to try on and order their dresses. Did you all pick out the one that you wanted them to wear before or did youlet them decide. I have in mind what I want.

Also, can you recommend a place for me to go.

i went to bridal reflections in massapequa with no appoinment and the store was very busy....and the girls working there were wonderful! i let everyone pick out dresses they like and some i liked....and we had them all try on the different ones to see them on different bodies...anyway, VERY LUCKILY they ALL loved the same one. lots of luck!

I went with my sister (MOH) and she picked out what she liked. The only thing that I told her was that I wanted it to be green. This is what she picked out. All the girls are getting the same dress. She gets a shawl and the girls get straps and a shawl. The dresses came from Valentina's in Brooklyn.

I also went with my sister (MOH) and she picked out what she liked and tried on a bunch of dresses at a few stores. We chose a dress, e-mailed our choice to everyone and they all agreeed- i just chose the color but she chose the style. 2 of my BMs are from Boston and 1 is from VA so it was hard to drag everyone up here. Also, some of these stores are small and packed and it's hard with a lot of people there.

We visited Bridal Reflections (Carle Place) and Bridal Couture in Manhasset - we actually got them from Bridal Couture - a lot of girls on this board have had a bad experience with them but I had no problem, they were ordered with no hassles and came in early.

I have a color and fabric in mind....just have to find the style!!

I went with them and it was a fiasco- no one could agree! We finally all agreed on one and when we went to order it, it was discontinued!

So, I went with mom and picked one and showed it to them- they all liked it. If I was you I would go pick a few that you like first and let them choose from those.
