This is such a great idea!!! I defitnetly think you could do it cheaper if when people are going back to college you get some of the back to school stuff on sale.

Re: bridesmaid survival kit
I think its a great idea. I definitely could have used some of that stuff the last couple of times I was a bridesmaid. There's always things I forget to bring with me.

Re: bridesmaid survival kit
This got me thinking... maybe I will get the girls bags as part of their presents and have their names embroidered on and put all the stuff in.

Re: bridesmaid survival kit
I was a bridesmaid and the bride had her MIL make one tote with lots of different 'survival' stuff in it. Most of us didn't even use anything but the one or two things that were used were life savers, like the tide-to-go for a stain on a dress and a safety pin on another.
I would say to make your own (it would be cheaper) and just do one larger one that can be placed in a central location like the bridal suite for all the girls to use.
Cute Idea, but you can definitely DIY - it as some other girls said...

Re: bridesmaid survival kit
I am going to be doing this, but i am putting it all together myself... I bought a super cute makeup case from the american bridal sale (the thing is huge!!) and i am going to be filling it with 'emergency' stuff....Lip Gloss, lotions, hair stuff, nail polish etc...I think its much cheaper to do it on your own, get better quality products and also find a way to make it your own, the bridesmaids will realize you took the time to make one special for each of them and it will mean more than if you bought it premade...

I think your better off doing it yourself....you can go to Sephora and get the products you know they like.

Ryan from Above and Beyond Events, LI is going to be my DOC. She is armed and 'dangerous' lol. She's got it all under control. If I didn't know she existed I would put together these kits for the girls. I was kicking myself for forgetting to order a Bridal Survival Kit for my sister when she got married. What a sense of relief when Ryan was able to modify a BM dress on the spot!!!!
