Bridesmaid Vent

ok, so my best friend that I know since I was 4 is one of my bridesmaids. All of my bridesmaids are wearing the same color/fabric, but different dresses. I started with this girl first B/C she has a hard time finding something she likes, plus, she wears a plus size, so I wanted her to get first picks on whatever dress she liked.
I took her dress shopping in February and she didn't like anything. So, she decided she was going to have her dress made. Long story short, she changed her mind and is now willing to 'settle' for an existing style.
The problem is...I can never get a hold of her. I've called her three times this week and she still hasn't returned any of my calls. We ALL get busy and I understand that, but all the other girls have a dress style and we want to place the order for the dresses...my question is...does she want to give me a heartattack??? She has always been a little self-centered - but I love her to death anyway...What should I do? I don't want to upset her, but she has to get her a$$ in gear!!

Sorry ladies - Im afraid I'm gonna turn into a Bridezilla, lol

leave her a message telling her she better pick up the damm phone and call you back, that she is flaking on her bm duties and you don't want to have to kill her.

Make iy sound like a joke so she doesn't get upset, but she will know you are serious.

i mean, i dont know why she didnt return your calls as of yet, but you have to also remember that just because your wedding is your top priority, it isnt every one else's and people have to go on with their daily lives and routines as well

i wouldnt call again, because 3x is a lot for her not to call u back

I actually said to my bridesmaid that if she didnt' want to be in the wedding that it would be fine, I would totally understand.

I left her a vm about a month ago to see if she could come up to NY for bridesmaid dress shopping on June 30th - thinking it would give her plenty of time. Everyone else is local, she is the one traveling and the one I am most worreid about.

I FINALLY got ahold of her this weekend, only cuz I called her and she is telling me that she is not sure about the 30th. Is it too much to ask that she just call and say that day may not work? At this point, my 4 other bridesmaids have all agreed to that day !!!!!!!!!

UGH! Why do people love to torture us? It is not too hard to return a phone call, even the busiest people have 5 mins!
