So I'm a little confused - bridesmaids gifts are given for the rehearsal dinner (like jewelry or something else), but then you also get a little something for the bridal shower right? Like a shirt or something that says bridesmaid?
Gifts are usually given at the rehearsal dinner or at a bridesmaid lunch the day of the wedding. If your bms through you a shower, you can get them a hostess gift. HTH

Usually you just give the hostesses of your shower a small gift. This isn't necessary though. I'm having 3 showers and each is hosted by more than 1 person, so we'll see![]()

Really? I've thrown a bunch of showers and always been given a small gift, or had flowers sent the next day. They all took place in MD though so maybe it's not common in NY. I think it's a nice touch though.

No, def. not necessary. Well except for my family shower, my aunts would all talk about me if I didn't give them something. LOL
I'm going to give my girls their gifts at the rehearsal dinner..I also never heard of giving one at the shower, how would you know when to bring it with you if you don't know when your shower is?
