how many is TOO many? how many did you have or will you have?
i have 8 girls (including my maid of honor) and 6 guys... is that okay? too big? too uneven?

My numbers are uneven too!!. I have 2 maid of honors (2 sisters unmarried) and 3 bridesmaind FH has 1 best man and 5 groomsman.. Its whatever you want and you make it work.. some girls are walking with 2 guys others 1

I think whatever you want is best :) I have heard of people with like 13 and 13 which seems a bit much to me..but its all up to what you want..also a lot of people do uneven. I wanted even..i also chose to have the CLOSEST to me which is: my cousin, my college roommate and his sister he has my brother, his brother and his best friend it works for us..whatever works for you! goodluck :)

I have heard of weddings with a lot of BM's too. I don't think there is any set number. As long as YOUR happy thats all that matters. And it defintely doesnt have to be even. My friend had like 5 groomsmen and his wife had two bridesmaids.

W/e u want is all that matters - if you don't mind them being uneven, then its no biggie!
i do think that you should consider the size of your wedding when choosing your BP, tho - like, if you wedding is 300 ppl then 10 girls may not be excessive (but if your wedding is 75 ppl then having 10 Bridesmaids and 10 Groomsmen may seem a bit much lol)
Do w/e wrks for you and your party :) If you are blessed w/ lots of gr8 fam and friends, all the more fun <3

thats a large party wow i have 4 and 4 but some what uneven because fh father in best man so uneven but thats ok just remember flowers and gifts to give out

I have 8! My mother thinks it is to many, but I dont care. I love them all and couldnt picture my wedding without them.

Ah! I have 11 bridesmaids including my moh, fh has 11 gm. I have 2 flowergirls, a junior bridesmaid and a ring bearer. Also, the 3 girls I've babysat foreverrrrrrr are bringing up the gifts, but I'm trying to involve them as much as I can! I don't think it matters, if you have a lot of great friends, its all worth it!!

Seriously, do what's going to make you happy. When I said ten on each side my mom told me she thought I was going overboard but the truth is each and every one of those people BELONGS up there with us. It would feel like something was missing if we cut people out.
My friend just had 12 on each side. Feel better?

I had 1 maid of honor, 1 matron of honor, 5 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl, 1 best man, 6 groomsmen, and 1 ring bearer. it ends up being the same on both sides but it's uneven because of 2 maids and 1 best man. You double up and make it work or have someone who isn't the maid of honor but is still SUPER important to you (like a cousin, best friend, sister, sister in law) walk alone as wel.. You figure it all out, no worries.

I think Im going to have 6 groomsmen and so far only have 4 bm's.... not sure yet

I think any number is fine! I wanted a very small bridal party 2 maids of honor and I would've had FH's sisteras a BM but she passed away a few months ago :( FH has 1 BM and 2 GM. So we will be uneven ....don't worry
