I have realized bridesmaids has become a problem for me since most of my best friends are in my home country, or scattered through US even Europe. I may not even be able gather 3 bridesmaids...Anybody in same shoes?

I had three bridesmaids (including my MOH): my two cousins and SIL. I think it's just fine to have a BM and MOH!

Oh wow, nice. but I do not have enough girls for bridal shower either. I guess I will just stay with MIL and other family of my FH...

There is no rule that says how many you need to have in your bridal party, pick the ones that mean the most to you and I'm sure that they will be there for you.

I think bridesmaids should be those friends/family members whom you hold close to your heart...if you do not have many locally that can commit, then that is completely fine. Don't ask people just to 'up' the numbers. You never know, maybe you friends back home would be able to make the trip for such a special occasion.

I miss my friends and family back homeland infinitely. I have been in Long island for 4 years and ever since I fell into my FH I have felt strongly bonded to this land too. I am inviting my precious friends and family here...if they can not, I may open a Skype end for them to witness.
