Ok ladies, I need some feedback. My maids dresses are tea length, and I am conflicted if they should all wear the same shoe, or should they get their own just dyed the same color? I've seen to pics of both and I have to say the pics look sloppy when different shoes are worn. Thoughts???
My girls are wearing t-length Bill Levkoff dresses in euro red with black sash. I have decided to let the girls wear whatever black satin shoes they want. Most of them already own some anyway. Hope that helps
im letting them wear whatever shoes they want...but then again i am a person who doesn't like everybody to look exactly alike and the dresses being the same is more than enough for me. Maybe pick a color for all of them to wear and this way they get whatever style they like in that color
I also have tea-length dresses and I didnt want to be that bride who makes them all get matching shoes but the more i think of it, the better i think it will look if they all have the same shoes on. my dresses are pink and brown, so im thinking of brown or bronze color shoes.
My Girls are wearing Dessy Tea length dresses.. I insist that all or half must have the same shoes since they will be shown to everyone.. I am going to pick out two shoes,, somewhat similar and the same color and have the girls pick which ones they want.. I know shoes can be tricky since everyones feet are different and two of my girls have sensitive feet, so I took that into account and found one shoe that has a low heel and one with a slightly higher shoe.. As someone with a wide foot, I do not like the idea of someone telling me what shoe I need to wear. Most shoes hurt my feet because they're too narrow. I would suggest letting them know what type of shoe you'd like them to wear so they're comfortable in their shoes.
My girls can wear whatever they want. I have feet that are IMPOSSIBLE to fit, so if someone made me pick a certain shoe, it would undoubtedly not fit. The pickings are slim for a size 6 1/2 double wide! If they have easy feet - go for it, though!
I have seen it done both ways and thought it looked nice. I don't know too many people who would look at the overall picture of your BP and comment that their shoes were different ?
JMO, but there's no way you're going to find a shoe that fits all of them comfortably. They can pick the same color but different styles and stil look great.

Yeah my maid's dresses are Bill Levkoff in 'pistachio' with the ivory white sash, I thought different shoes same color would look ok, but I saw this pic and I immediately thought...'uhhh...' but I'm not an anal bride and don't really want cookie cutter maids.... I just don't know LOL![]()
I just had mine choose whatever shoes they wanted.
oh no, no. I want the girls to wear strappy sandal like shoes dyed the same color as the dress, then after the wedding they can dye them to black.
I'm letting my girls pick whatever shoes they want as long as they are gold.
i think the shows should match but should be whatever the girls are comfy in. tip though, flats don't look great with tea length dresses
