Bridesmaids Books

Did anyone get those like etiquette or guide books for their BM's? And if so, which one?

I was thinking about doing this, I think they're a cute gift when asking someone to be your bridesmaid.

I actually thought about getting them but then I wondered if it looked a little too 'pushy'....still undecided though

JMHO, I think that idea is a little pushy and could REALLY come off the wrong way.

I didnt do it. I saw some at Boarders but the things in there were kinda weird. I just sent them a great poem with a picture of us and aksed them to be in the wedding. If anything thats good enough!

I think you know your girls well enough how they will 'interpret' the gift. I gave them to SOME of mine--the ones that were SO excited but I knew hadn't been in any weddings so it helped to answer the 'What do I do?, What can I do to help?' Those girls LOVED the books and were definitely NOT insulted. The other girls, who HAD been in several weddings and knew the drill, I gave novels about weddings to get them in the mood. One of the best (imo) is 'The Wedding' by Nicholas Sparks.

That's a really good idea. Most of my BM's have not been in any weddings, I got one of those books myself and I just thought it was really cute, though I don't even know that I read it.

I'm also 100% certain that none of them would interpret it as being pushy because I'm the farthest thing from that. If I was all bridezilla and high strung maybe, but that's not the case.
