bridesmaids dress price

i was wondering approximettly how much the bridesmaids dress you picked will cost. did you try to keep the cost low knowing the peoples situations? or did you pick what you wanted & what looked good.

the Bari Jay dress i picked is $165 not including tax or alterations. alterations are $35-$75.

i found a few that i liked and they range from $200 - $350 but my bm's get a 20% discount from my bridal salon so the price should drop a little

i think yours a great price!!I wouldnt worry about it... and theyre really pretty!

My dresses cost almost $300 for the bm's.....I did feel bad bc its a lot of money. But my girls seemed ok with it....that's why I am going to try to pay for their hair.

i was in a wedding over the summer & the dress was about $200, it was bill levkoff & i had to buy a new bra ($75) to wear underneath & specific shoes since it was t-length. by time everything was done i spent over $600. not including wedding & engagement gifts

ITA...I think that price is good...but I wouldn't want to go too much higher. I was in my friends wedding last year..and once you add everything up its a lot.

The dress, shoes, alterations, engagement, shower and wedding gifts plus the bachelorette party. Plus if you get your hair or makeup done.

i am def keeping the price of the dresses under $150... i could never expect the girls to pay more than that since they also have to pay for alterations, hair/nails/makeup, bridal shower, shoes, hotel rooms since many are oot, etc.

the dresess im looking at are around 168-200. don't think i will be going over that price.

I think it's best to try and stay under $200. I think your price is fine. I am in two weddings before my wedding...each dress was around $160 w/o alterations. I thought that was a very fair price.

i looked on dessy.com and saw a dress i liked that i think was around $125.. which would be great for my girls! i don't want them to spend a fortune on a dress if they won't wear it again.

mine retail for about 220 but i shopped around and found them for $175..i think alterations cap at $55'ish

i definitely have to stay under $200

my junior BM is 13 and i know her mom may not be able to spend more than $200 for her

also, my one BM i know doesnt have the best financial situation

so i think $200 or less if fair....

especially since when u ask them to be BMs they say yes knowing that they are going to have to do/pay for all that stuff!!

Most that I liked were aruond $165-200 I won't go over that. I know when I am in a wedding I hate spending more than that for something I will only wear once....
