I found this dress I really love for my bridesmaids. Exept all of the stores dont have them in stock. Should I just order it and hope that I like it in person?

Re: Bridesmaids dress question
Do they have a swatch of the dress? That way you can atleast see the material. Also, have you contacted the designer (check out their webiste)? They should be able to tell you who carries the dress. I would be wary about ordering a dress sight unseen. So many dresses look great in pics and then you see them and you can't believe that is the same dress! It happened to me. Thankfully, I hadn't placed the order for the dress as yet.

I agree, much like with everything during the planning process, seeing things in person can give you a better idea. Better safe than sorry!

Re: Bridesmaids dress question
I wouldn't. There is a dress that I saw posted by a number of girls on this website, that I loved when I saw it. My MOH put it on, and it looked horrible on her.
Call the designer and find out where they shipped the dress. Someone, somewhere has to have it.

I would say no. You may love the pic but hate the dress in person...or even worse, when its on your BM's. I second the better safe than sorry.

I would say no too- there were a few dresses I LOVED before i saw them in person- you cant really tell quality or how it will look on until you see it in person

I wouldn't. I would call a few more bridal salons. Did you try RK Bridal in NYC? I don't know where you live but Valentina bridal in Bensonhurst Bklyn has a large selection of BM dresses.

I would also say no. There were dresses that I saw and really really liked, until I saw them in person and saw people try them on. You can never tell from a picture! You don't want to order them and end up not liking them.
