Bridesmaids Dresse

Have you guys already ordered your BM;s dresses? It's the only thing I have left to do and now I'm worried that it's on;y 5 months away and I haven't done it yet. If you ordered how long did they take to come in?

i ordered mine's from burton's 2 weeks ago and they said it would come in the end of april...but i think it depends on the designer? i was looking at some dresses at david's bridals and the girl said it would take about 2 months to come in.

I was told by David's to be in w/in the next few weeks, so that the dresses have plenty of time to come in and then allow time for alterations...

I did mine in October. I think you'll get them in time, but I wouldn't wait too much longer to order them.

I was told by my salon that it takes 8 weeks to come in, but the first fitting isn't usually until a few weeks before the wedding. I think you should start getting your girls to order their dresses this way you don't have to worry about them not coming in on time.

I ordered mine in October. I was told they would be in by end of February/beginning March (Vera Wang). I would start looking, you don't want to be under pressure to find dresses or with deadlines for alterations.

I already have them picked out, it's just a matter of putting down the deposit and ordering. I know all the girls are strapped for money with the holidays, so I'm hoping to wait until January.

My last two BMs ordered them today. Each designer and store will take a different amount of time to arrive, but they also pad the arrival date to cover their butts. I recently ordered a dress for a wedding I'm in this coming June. They said it would come in mid April, which would have been 7 months. It came in this week (2 months after I ordered it). You should pick them out and get them ordered sooner rather than later, since some designers will take a while to come in and it's better to have the dress come in way early than be stressing about it last minute.
