David's Bridal has a large selection for a decent price, I also hear the wedding center in commack has great selection and prices are decent as well.
My girls are wearing Alfred Angelo, they have a ton of styles and colors and their dresses come in Junior sizes in case you're having a Junior BM. We ordered them from Helen's Bridal in Commack, good service so far and less expensive than other stores. They're each wearing different dresses so they paid between $130-$150, not including alterations.

Me too! and you can usually get his dresses cheaper when ordering on line. My girls got dresses for $105 through gownsales.com

We ordered from Aria. (www.ariadress.com.) They don't have a shop in NY, but they'll send you color swatch samples for free, and a sample dress in the color you want for a small fee. The dresses run approx. $195 each, depending on the style and fabric. There's tons of colors and styles to choose from - I liked that the girls could pick whatever dress they wanted.
my bridesmaid went with vera wang. I dont know if people are aware of this but if the bride gets a vw gown, you get 15% off vw maids. Also at Macy's (at 34th street) if you register for a registry, ask them for a demetrios coupon where you can get 15% dresses there too(and it works on their selection of maids dresses)! at the demetrios inside macy's they have bill levkoff, laundry and others. They were in the $200 range
