My Bridesmaids Dresses are a pink color and the matrons of honor are in a darker shade of pink. I was wondering if any of you ladies are doing the same, having a different color for the Matron of honor. Do you think it's a dumb idea?

My MOH is going to be wearing Champagne and my BMs are wearing the same EXACT dress in Wine.
I don't think it's dumb at all. My MOH is very excited about it!

My moh will be in the same colors, but possibly a different neckline- I like the idea of different colors. Not dumb at all!

My BM are all wearing the same dress but my MOH will have a stole/pashmina/shawl, whatever they call it these days. She has a tattoo she wants to hide, and she's always cold!

Same dresses two different colors. Bridesmaids are 2 or 3 shades lighter then MOH dress

I think it's a great idea. My 2 MOHs will be wearing the same color as the 6 BMs, but their dress is a little different than the BMs, but they compliment eachother perfectly. It's nice to have the MOH stand out.

My Matron of Honor will be wearing a Navy blue & BM will be wearing periwinkle (lt. blue)

All of mine will be inthe same color, becasue I wanted yello and blue, and I don't think the MOH's or the BM would look good in yellow, so I ut the Jr. in yellow and the FG in ivory and yellow.
I relaly like the idea to have them a shade different. I am goignt o do the flowers of the MOH's and the BM a little different.

My mom freaked when I told her all my bridesmaids are wearing the same thing. They all picked the same dress! And, I didn't even want to think about more than one color, it was hard enough to decide on one.....I don't think it's a dumb idea at all though, I'm just not doing it. My MOH will have a different bouquet though. My bridesmaids will have white nosegays, my MOH will have a slightly larger nosegay of the bright flowers in my bouquet.
