When you picked the dresses for your BP was this a dress you would of loved to wear in someone elses wedding? Just curious if you think that you would like to wear it,since some BM'S complain about style

I kept in mind that my BM had to be in this dress for essentially 12 hours, and that if they were uncomfortable that it would show and hinder thier ability to have a good time.
I let my girls pick out thier own dresses, but they had to be black & they had to be matte satin.
It worked pretty well, too!

I had my bridesmaids pick it out themselves and to be honest it was not something I would have picked myself. I told them to pick it because I've been in enough weddings where I hated the dress. I just specified the color. I went with them to look and had the final say, but if they were happy and it fit them and wasn't ridiculously expensive I let them pick it. They were pretty enough, just not my style. But at least I was considered a 'nice' bride!!

Evereyone is different, for my sisters wedding, she picked the line..( Billlevkoff) and each of the bridal party picked our own style..it just all had to be the same color..it worked out great because her bridal party was all shapes and sizes..some poeple are afraid to do that because they dont think it wont look right in the pictures, but it was actually beautiful, and we were all happy because we were able to pick out our own unique style of a dress. I am doing the same for my wedding..I told them to just pick a dress from the same line and pick the same color..now one MOH is pregnant, so we will most likely go with the JIM HJELM line as he is the only one that i hav efound with a maternity line on the way ( one month). But the colors will be the same and everyone will be happy.

I let my girls pick out dresses that they liked and could all agree on.
The dress they picked out I love. I would love to wear it to anything.

The girls picked out the dress and I was tempted to buy one for myself because I love it that much! I tried it on everytime I went to the dress shop!

My matron lives in FL so she didnt get to 'try on' the dress. I sent her a pic. When I go to see her we are going to a dress shop near her that carries the dress and she can try it on. I think I want to try it on as well. I really like the dress my girls picked

I picked the color, and the designer. They then eached picked their own tops. I have 12 girls, and 12 girls got different tops. And there were more to go around. They were so happy that they got to pick their own style.
To tell you the truth, I let my sister, MOH, pick out a dress at first, It was nice, but I couldn't see 12 girls in this dress, it would just be BARF! (He He He He) I didn't want any bickering from the girls, so seperates was my safest way.
