I'm new to LI Weddings and just wanted to say hello! My question is for all of you who have started bridesmaids dress shopping in your experience have you found a dress type that has been flattering both for very small girls to larger girls? Any advice would be great! =)

Welcome!! I was just in a wedding party with 8 girls of every shape and every size.. smaller, larger, short, tall, busty & flatter chested.. we all wore this dress & I thought it was very flattering..
If I can make a picture small enough to post here of the whole wedding party I will definitely post here

First hi! Welcome!!! Being a plus size girl my self I can tell u that a line styles are the best for plus size girls also satin not chiffon.... Dresses with that bunching under the boobs make bigger girls look huge abs preggers! And chiffon pleats I.don't think look good either.....personal opinions!!

Welcome! I'm going to choose a designer, color, and fabric (most likely chiffon) and have my party choose whichever style suits them best. My bridal party is all different sizes and ages, so I figured this would cause the least amount of unhappiness and drama.

I was just in a wedding and wore a fairly similar Bill Levkoff (with one strap) and it was flattering on everyone too. I would definitely check out that designer

2 years ago I wore a bill levkoff as a bridesmaid and it worked on all girls - all different sizes. It was very similar to the one you posted, but a short version

I am doing the same thing as @mab30. So much easier with bridesmaids who are different sizes and ages. And, my bridesmaids seemed to love that idea. I just want whatever will make them feel comfortable.

Welcome!!
I was in a wedding a few years ago and we were all aloud to pick our own style because we were all over the map from tall and short to skinny and plus size. I am plus and I was so happy about this. All of us were in black so it was pretty easy to get the same color no matter the designer. I plan on choosing a designer that has a wide range of styles and a fabric and letting the girls choose what they want so they will all be the same color but they can all have their own style.

Im going to do this too! I have 10 girls in my party so I will most likely pick the fabric, designer, length and color.. and 4 or 5 dresses that I like best and have them pick from those ones

Hello I just ordered jenny yoo Aidan and it's a convertible dress. It has like hanging drapes and you pull them up and tie them all different ways. It is very flattering for girls of all shapes and sizes. Good Luck!
