How much are your girls paying for their bridesmaids dresses plus alterations? Just trying to figure out what is an acceptable price! Thanks!

Dresses were 129 don't know about alterations, but they are short dresses so they won't need too much in alterations.

My BM dresses were 250 and they are paying for the alterations as well. I did buy my MOHs dress though.

My dresses were $210 but then i called RKBridal and they ordered them for me for $130. Alterations will be done at dry cleaner for $30.

Thanks so much for the responses!! The dresses I'm looking at are in the low to mid $200 range, so I just wanted to double check that it was a decent price and not too high to pay for a BM dress. But that price range seems to be the average trend!

Dress was $185.00-261.00..It was different beacuse I had girls of different shapes and sizes. I'm going to let the girls take the gowns whewrever they want to get hems, etc done to the gown. I don't want to require them to get the alterations done @ the store if they can get it cheaper elsewhere.

300 for bm dresses (priscillas of boston) 75 dollar alterations cap

My BM dreses are made by Watters & Watters, already a high end designer for BM's. I managed to find a current season dress for much cheaoer than almost anywhere else in Brooklyn. (which is perfect because it is where most of us live) The dresses came out to $165. My Fh's aunt who is a seamstress in Italy, just came to stay with his family for 6 months so she could be here for our wedding and she is fixing 2 of my BM's dresses. my sister, my MOH, and another BM will have to pay for their alterations. I don't know how much they will be spending.

172 without alterations, my moh is in the buffalo are and she paid 187 for her dress.

I got the girls dresses down to $145 and I think the alteration cap is $75
