Lisa - I love that idea. I think those are really nice gifts that anyone would be sure to appreciate.

Last year I was in a wedding and the bride gave us all beautiful glass boxes that could be used for jewelry or potpourri. I saw some similar ones at this web site: http://members.aol.com/mkennedy2/thumbs/boxes.htm

I am doing jewerly b/c I think it is really nice to have a piece of jewerly for the rest of your life - The robe idea I love in fact - but thst's not something you always have - I have been in 5 wedding parties - I know exactly who has given me what - My sister gave me a piece of art (which I loved, and will always have) I was the maid of honor to another friend who bought us all heart necklaces from Tiffiney's(When I'm invited to her 25th Anniversary I will wear it) I won't still have the robe... It's just a thought- I like the idea of doing individual gift baskets - but with something in there that they will always have...

My wife had a makeup artist come to the house and do all the bridesmaids makeup including herself. That was their gift and they all loved it.

I am thinking of doing individual baskets as well. I plan on personalizing each one based on each girl's tastes; inside each, I plan on putting a sterling silver charm bracelet with one charm.

Bridesmaids gifts - SHOP ON THE HONEYMOON!!!
For our Nov2000 wedding, I made the bridesmaids a 'coupon' good for a souvenir from the honeymoon in Disney. This way, I had time and a good reason to shop at the Happiest Place on Earth. They loved the idea and loved what they got...who doesn't love a gift bought from elsewhere? I was just happy it (shopping) was one less thing to do before the big day!Welcome New Vendors
