I was thinking about getting my girls a pearl necklace, nothing crazy just simple classic looking but FH thinks its too old lady. Would anyone like to get that as a gift???
I personally think that every woman should have a set of pearls! They are so classic. Do it!

I'm not too big into pearls actually, but I still think that i would appreciate receiving it as a gift from somebody. Especially if it's DOJ, then I would have an excuse to actually wear pears (and I'm sure it wouldn't just sit around gathering dust either!) I understand the 'old woman' comment from your FH cause that's sorda how I feel (which is why I don't own any) but it's also very classic and pretty. I think your girls will love it.

I actually got my girls pearls. Got them necklaces and matching earrings on Overstock, and then also got them monogrammed canvas tote bags from Lands End. In all I spent about $100 on each BM, and they loved them.

I think its a great gift, pearls make anything look ten times more classy!
I think they're a GREAT gift. Their timeless, elegant and something they could all wear on the day of. I'm going to do the same thing. That's a nice touch!
hey i actually got a pearl neclace and pearl earings to match from my sister in law as a BM gift last feburary when her and my brother got married and they were absolutely gorgeous with her BM dress and even still i will take them out and wear them with some of my outfits when i go out.. i think that is a great gift and your girls will really appreciate and like it! :) pearls are actually really coming back for our age girls believe it or not and no longer look like they can be for an 'old lady'! =]
