Hi ladies,

I had purchased Origami Owl necklaces for my girls to wear the day of the wedding, however they look ABSOLUTELY ridiculous with the dress (we need a wider, thicker pendant type necklace)..

so now I'm at a loss as far as what to get them as gifts, and what jewelry they should be wearing.

I've purchased personalized chap stick because they're freakin adorable and they were inexpensive, but other than that, I got nothin.

Why don't you have the girls use the Origami Owl necklaces on their bouquets? I had bought my girls charms for their bouquets, so your girls could do that. Then you can look for cheaper necklaces in Macys or somewhere you can use coupons.

I like the idea of using them on the bouquets. I have an origami owl necklace and I absolutely love it so I think it's an awesome gift!

There is a matching necklace to this. l also got monogrammed button down shirts, lace clutches, monogrammed totes. I plan to fill the clutch with emergency supplies too

For Bridemaids gifts I am getting them things related to the day of the wedding, to help mitigate costs. So, we are paying for their hair and makeup. I also bought dress hangers for the girls and will likely pay for their nails to get done. I may make small scrapbooks for them with pictures of things we have done leading up to the wedding.

i bought them kate spade rose gold bow earrings (perfect for december and my color scheme!) and my MOH the earrings and the matching bangle from kate spade. I also got them a nice picture keepsake that gets attached to their bouquets. i also purchased them coach wristlets.
And then as part of their gift they have a choice if they want their hair or make up paid for. :)

these are all great ideas! three of my bridesmaids have had recent weddings and they actually gave a lot of these as gifts so I kind of wanted to go a different route, but I'm definitely into getting them DOJ.

I wonder, since I'm not having them carry bouquets but rather attach them somehow to the vases they're carrying with the sand for the sand ceremony.

So funny, I was looking at the Kate Spade stuff too!I plan on getting my girls the kate spade bow bracelet or the earrings...not sure yet about the other stuff.

I got my girls DOJ from Etsy! I also got them monogrammed compact mirrors in the color of their dresses. They're really pretty and made with swarovski crystals.
