I can't deceide on a gift for the girls. I thought of a beach bag filled with different beach things. Then I thought I should get them something that they will have forever. So now I can't deceide what to do. Please share with me wht everyone is getting their girls so I can have some ideas. Thannks!

I bought each of them the ff:
Necklace- white gold with 3-tier diamonds (past,present,future) earrings- white gold diamond earrings small tote bag from Lillian Vernon mongramed with their initials underwear with bridesmaids & maid of honor rhinestones monogram
I bought the jewelry from Macys- they had this amazing sale and i was able to the stuff for about $80/pp (both necklace & earrings)
I am still contemplating whether or not to pay for 1/2 their hair & makeup

What I am thinking now for the girls are a really nice pair of chandelair earrings bc they would look great with the dress that they have. I also got them the wedding hankies for now.

i got them baskets that were christmas themed and stuffed with things i tailored to there personalitys. i also bought them a swarvoski(sp) bracelet to go over there gloves and a snowflake earring and necklace set. also bought them there faux fur shawls

I am going to get the Tiffany's jewelry and then a bunch of little stuff.
My sister is my MOH and I got her a diamond (real) cross necklace

Anyone know what the average $$$ spent on bridesmaid gifts? I like Tiffany Necklaces as well for them, but FI doesn't want me to spend $200 bucks total..HOw much are u all spending? if you don't mind me asking..

The best gift I got for being in a bridal party was an invitation to a party about two months after the wedding. We all got together at the newlyweds' house, had a huge meal, then took a limo into the city for a fun evening. It was great to see everyone after all the wedding craziness died down. Also, I think it made sense money-wise for the bride and groom. They could have even used some 'gift money' to treat us all. It really was great.

I plan on giving them: purses (same ones as nsgraham from lillian vernon) engraved compact mirros (also from lv) isotoner (sp?) slippers wedding day jewelry and something else, i don't know what. I need to get something extra especially for my moh. She's been great so far.

Hey there!
Personally, what I am considering is that each of my girls are recieving sterling silver jewelry. If you go to the Attias Flea Market, many of the places there will give you up to half off on purchases, especially since you are buying for a few people.
If you walk in the Flea Market in the center (main entrance), make a right and head towards the end. There's a silver place in between a shoe place and a gold vendor. There's a sign over the silver vendor that says '50% off' all silver or something like that. They have quality sterling silver, all unique designs, at a very reasonable price. No one has to know you got the gifts there and plus then you can choose based on the individual's personality and style.
I was thinking of the tiffany necklaces too. The key is to go to the store, dont go online. A friend of mine got married last year and she gave her BM's the eternity symbol necklace. I think on the website it sells for more than $100, but she got them at the store for $80.

I personalized the gifts. My girls were so different that I didn't want to buy one thing b/c I knew some wouldn't like it. I put the prices here since you asked. I think you should buy what expresses your gratitude and spend what you can afford - don't pick a number and spend it b/c you think its right.
MOH: sapphire and diamond earrings and manicure gift certificate (approx $225)
BM: coach make-up bags for three of them filled with lip stick, lotion, bath salts and a manicure gift certificate for the day before wedding (approx $115)
BM: for one I got the Tiffany silver mesh ring and the manicure (approx $125)
BM: for two I got monogrammed robes and made a spa kit with different lotions and stuff and the gift cert for manicure (approx $100)
I also had a bridal tea the day before at the Robinson's Tea Room in Stonybrook that was about $20/person.
Jr BM: amethyst earrings and lip gloss and candy (approx $45)
Jr BM: necklace and lip gloss and candy (approx $45)
FG: ruby earrings and candy and lip gloss (approx $50)
