Do your bridesmaids have to have their hair already blown out the day of your wedding if they are getting it put up or styled by whoever is doing your hair?? One of my girls has very thick hair and is a bit nervous that her hair wont stay if she doesnt have a professional blow it out, but I always thought that you just went w/ your hair already blown out and then they styled it from there?? Any experiences with this?

Re: Bridesmaids hair question!!!!!!
I think it depends on the style. I have very thick and curly hair and if I am having an updo done, all they ask me to do is go to the salon with 'dirty' hair (not just washed). I've just washed it the night before so it's dry. They take it from there.

All my girls went with wet heads. That's normally what I do too.

I was in my cousin's wedding in July and I have very very thick hair and I went to the salon with my hair wet and they had no problem doing an updo.

i was always told to blow it out the night before. Up-do's actually stay better on 'dirty hair'. Kind of like when you get your hair died.

I heard to wash it the day before, is it different if your hair is REALLY REALLY thick?

Re: Bridesmaids hair question!!!!!!
my hair is not straight and i was told once to dry it myself the night before and i did not like it that way. The truth is i just cannot get it straight and shiny the way a professional can.
