Bridesmaids- How early should they order?

I'm reading a bunch of conflicting things so I'm getting slightly anxious that my bridesmaids didn't order dresses yet (and more so that we didn't pick them out yet!)

How early before the wedding do they have to be ordered? I am going to look the first weekend in August with some BM & was hoping to have them all put in their order by September 1st for our end of March wedding.. this is more than enough time- right?

I was told July August the latest. And by the end if Aug some designers discontinue dresses fyi

Bridesmaids- How early should they order?

I had my bridesmaids order in mid-April (so 6 months before the wedding). The dresses are expected to come in next month so that will leave us 2 months for alterations and whatnot. I was told we were behind and HAD to order when we did, but I think it was perfect timing.

My girls ordered in march for my october wedding. My maid of honor who ordered her in florida and it came last month. The other girls are due to come in next months.

My girls' Bill Levkoff dresses are taking 4 months to come in. I told them in early March go anytime between now and April, no later than the first week of May. And so the last dress was ordered like May 3rd and they will all arrive the week of August 13th.

We ordered February for September wedding it took 3 months for them to arrive..we used weddingtonway.com..they came in May..if u use that website it will estimate dress arrival and what's the latest date u can order for them to arrive in time for your wedding

I was told 6-8 months we ordered end of march for my girls since I have a few from out of town!

Bridesmaids- How early should they order?

My girls ordered by the end of March for my December wedding and they came in last week. I was told they'd come in around august/september.

I ordered my gown in the beginning of February and was told it would come in September/October... and I just got the call its in as well!

My dress place stores them for us so its all good!
