Is anyone doing this? Can you give details? Does it only have to be the bridesmaids, or all the ladies close to you? Can you do something like a dual-luncehon or 'Jack and Jill', with the groom and groomsmen too?

I was debating about this, if we have time, either the day of or the day before the wedding. if it's the day of, definitely not Jack & Jill b/c I can't see my baby!!
but if it's the day before, we may take them all out to brunch or something....even though it would be cheaper to just do the girls...hmmm....

I'm planning to do one the Saturday before the wedding (can't do it day of cause it is a day wedding....) and am only going to invite my bridal party (maybe my mom and FMIL - not sure).
I don't plan to invite the guys cause I think it will be nice to have a mellow girls lunch (plus two of the girls are dating two of the guys, so I would feel bad for the three other girls being couple-less.....too much!). I plan to give out the BM gifts at this time.

It is so hard to get all of the girls together! If I do this, I know at least one won't be able to make it.
The morning of the wedding I am going to have food in the bridal suite, so that may be the luncheon.

Sorry, I didn't fully read the question. You can decide what you want for your luncheon. It is generally close to the wedding day, especially if you have OOT BMs. You might decide to give your girls their gifts then. I think it would be nice to have all the special woman in your life together for brunch. You can definitely do a 'Jack and Jill' if you want - but then it may feel like the rehersal dinner.

I'm doing something similar, but not so close to the wedding. Instead I'm planning on doing a get-together with the girls and the guys around now so that they can all meet and get to know each other. I figure we'll have them over to our apartment and then we can take a trip to go see the RH. Just a casual day with the group!

I def wanna do something bc all 7 of my BMs (who do at least know each other) are from all areas of my life (ie- family memebers, childhood friends, HS friends, work friends). I would like to do something where we all get together so thy can really get to know each other and have fun!

I am in a way- thats kind of what i am calling it... i am doing it in two weeks when we go look at dresses, i had a bm fly in for the dress shopping and two others travel out of state...so I thought it would be nice to thank them, give them their newsletter, have them all meet cause they dont all know eachother-
we are going to go to a resta. my mom my MOH my 2 BM's my jr bm and her mom(my cousin) my flowergirl and her mom (my cousin) me

This Sunday all of my girls and me are all meeting up so they can all meet eachother... We are gonna do lunch or dinner somewhere.
Closer to the wedding I will probably have something for them as well....

I am doing a meet and greet with all my girls next month. I sent them an evite for a Pizza girls only pizza party followed by drinks for all boyfriends and husbands to join in at the Nautical Mile. I thought this would be a great way for everyone to meet before the wedding since my girls are also from different places in my life -work, school, family, old town. It is not like a lunch thing where I am giving them gifts, not yet anyway, that will be closer to the wedding, this is just a meet and greet kinda pizza party.
