Bridezilla

are any of your afraid to becoming bridezilla???

I'm really organized and most of my friends say that I'm too anal-retentive... I've had nightmares about getting all crazed and turning into a bridezilla!!

I haven't had a vendor do that to me yet, but I just get all crazed.. FH tells me to calm down... I sent out invites and only got back 4 RSVP cards, and its been two weeks!! I'm going bonkers!

I told her I got offended b/c when i hear the word bridezilla I think .. it equals Mean biotch. but she was like nooo it doesn't mean that.

I figured out my Bridezilla issue. I am an artist and visual things like color, layout, even typos can drive me insane.

It took 3 proofs before we finally approved our invitations and I really just prefer to do things myself because it's harder than trying to explain what I want to someone else.

I found out how to download fonts last night and i've been going crazy with it ever since

I tried not to get that way since it would only stress me out more..

now FH on the other hand has been a real GROOMZILLA!! He's worse than any Bridezilla I have seen sometimes!

My sister does the same thing!!!!! She called me a bridezilla about a month ago, I think because I was thinking about centerpieces in great detail and was kinda going over it with her to make sure I was doing the right thing. A bridezilla to me is someone who thinks the world revolves around them and their wedding, has no respect for BMs or family members who are helping out, and is offended when people do not kiss the ground she walks on because SHE is getting married. Not someone who does EVERYTHING themselves (me), lets the MOH pick her dress (uh, me) and is as frugal as can be while still making sure they have the wedding of their dreams.

I think she meant it in the same way as your sister, but come on! Let's not call each other names now.

I have already been referred to as it tomany times....

I'm def not being a Bridezilla in that sense of the word -- I let my girls pick the dress style they liked, and I don't expect the world to revolve around me at all... and I appreciate everyone who helps me.

Yeah. I agree. I am soo not into being all self centered about the whole thing. natter of fact I am usually told by other to stop caring about what everybody else thinks it is supposed to be my day (but I reposnd that it is made more special by having them there so I want them to be happy too) . I am making the invite myself, well almost everything myself, but because i am trying to do everything I get bugged by her... ugh

I recently asked my friends and they all joked that I haven't been a bridezilla in any way, so I was releaved, but I know how I can get and I think because I'm deathly afraid of appearing that way to other people, I end up being a push over.
