bridezilla??

ugh...im just full of drama lately...

my MOH has been my best since foreverrr now..

she is full of tattoos, but only 1 is actually really visible and its on her chest...fine, it can be covered if i want...

well, she promised me that she wouldnt get any more visible tattoos til after the wedding b/c she respects my day and stuff..

well she sents me a text today..and it is a picture of what she got added to the tattoo on her chest..it says 'true til death' in huge letters with a huge ugly orange heart under it..

im sorry, but im paying almost $3000 for pictures and i dont want to see that...

im just upset b/c she basically broke a promise.. people are telling me she obvously doesnt even wanna be in the wedding if she is doing sh!t like this..

what to do?

That's really annying!! It ***** even more b/c she told you that she wouldn't do anymore until after the wedding. I know some people are going to say 'that's just who she is', but she agreed to not get anymore. But I don't think this is her way of saying she doesn't want to be in your wedding, she probably didn't think about it...

im sorry but im going to be honest.. i think youre totally wrong.. she should not have to cater to your wedding for the next year and a half... while i do not agree or like tattoos like that it is HER body and if she wants it there then she has every right to get it no matter what.. just pick a dress where her chest is covered if you do not what it in your pictures.

If you hate the tattoo so much and she's willing to let you have airbrush makeup cover up the tattoo on your wedding, then do that. I think it's kind of unreasonable to expect a friend of yours not to get a tattoo for a year and 8 months because you're getting married. Sorry JMO I don't see a problem asking her to cover it up if she's going to be okay with it but it sounds like you just don't like the tattoo, I doubt she meant any ill will toward you or your wedding in getting the tattoo, she just probably really wanted it.

i agree, and just remind her about what she said and that now you have to pay more (im not sure if you said you were) or figure out another way to cover it up

ugh, i wrote this huge long response and it didnt post, w t f. anyway, the jist of what i said was now i'm interested in seeing the tattoo but i also promised my mom i wouldnt start my chest piece before the wedding, and unless i come in to a huge amount of money, thats going to stay the case. also what about like a boatneck type top for the dress? that'll cover everything (short of a turtleneck lol)

its just the fact that she promised me no more visible tattoos...that the main thing im mad about...and its a super huge noticable tattoo...and when my pictures cost $3000, i dont want people saying 'wow, look at her tattoo'

Re: bridezilla??

did you ask her if she minds covering it up and having it airbrushed? cause if she is ok with that, then you dont have a problem. if you could send me the picture i would like to see it

If she promised you she wouldn't then she was wrong she should have told you first but then again maybe she thought it wasn't a huge deal. I wouldnt be bothered by it...

I agree with Jess and I would chose a neckline that is high to cover it!
