Okay I trust you guys to tell me if I'm wrong. My sister who is already married has decided to get married in church. Even though she is already married she is treating it like a regular wedding. She just decided to do this and I think she is already acting like a Bridezilla. I am going to be in her BP and the dresses she chose is from David's Bridal and she wants me to order my dress from the Massapequa store but I live in Ronkonkoma and there is one in Lake Grove about ten minutes away from my house. When I told her that I wasn't going to the store by her she FREAKED out hardcore lol I tried to explain that it would ****** to have to drive 40 mins out of my way for every fitting etc. but, she wouldn't listen. I think this is a classic Bridezilla move. What do you guys think?? Should I give in even though I think she is being unreasonable? I'm a Bride too and I want to make things as easy as possible for my BP. Thanks in Advance!!

Re: Bridezilla????
It does suck that you can't go somewhere closer to you. She must be worried about the dresses not coming out the same. If you can't convince her to let you go to the store closer to your house. She is your sister so if she really wants that specific store I would just give in. No need to make her stressed out. Just play some awesome music on your drive there.

Re: Bridezilla????
I would be annoyed by that.. all davids bridals are going to have the same dress so it shouldn't really matter which one you purchase the dress from.... Unless maybe did she get a discount if 'X' number of girls buy the dresses from there??

Re: Bridezilla????
YOUR SISTER SEEMS TO BE HAVING A BRIDEZILLA MOMENT....I'D HOLD YOUR GROUND AND JUST LET HER HAVE A HISSY FIT AND GET OVER IT ....I'M SOMEWHAT KIDDING .....IF IT WOULD REASSURE HER, I'LL SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH YOU....MY FSIL PICKED HER BMS DRESSES FROM DAVID'S BRIDAL...ALL HER BMS WERE FROM A DIFFERENT STATE (MARYLAND, NY, CALIFORNIA, ETC ETC.)....EACH OF US ORDERED THE DRESS IN A DIFFERENT STORE AND THERE WAS NO PROBLEMS WITH THE COLORS MATCHING OR ARRIVAL DATES!....HOPE THAT HELPS!

Def. being a bridezilla. Honestly, she should be happy that you're even willing to buy a BM dress considering that she already got married.

Re: Bridezilla????
I'm just going to do it because I don't think it's worth me being stressed over something so silly. I just hate doing things that make no sense. I guess she's not a fan of logic lol Thanks for making me feel better ladies

do you think she's concerned about your ordering from a different one b/c the dye lots might be different? in all honesty, i was concerned about that for mine, so when one of my girls made it clear she was getting her dress from the store closest to her, i just had everyone order it from there. as for alterations, though, they can be done anywhere.
can you purchase the dress thru the DB in massapequa, but have the alterations done in lake grove?

That is what I am going to try and do I also going to see if they can ship it to that store as well. However I don't think that was here concern. When I asked her why she wanted me to get it from that particular stomer she couldn't give a reason. She justs wants it and that's it.

Lol at this point I have to laugh it's better than screaming at her. We are usually so close I don't know what's gotten into her lately.

Re: Bridezilla????
did she have a big the wedding the first time around? Because if she never had the experience, I understand her wanting to feel like a bride.
Still don't get why she insisted on that specific store though.
