ok I have not even set a date and I am already a bridezilla!! Our eparty is this sunday & my dress is a matte black fabric- it has a keyhole in the back-- very classic Audrey Hepburnish. I wasn't even going to have my hair done at all but when I was trying on the dress I put my hair up so the seamstress could adjust it & everyone in the shoppe was yelling that I should wear it up-- so I went for a trial with my hair guy--- I CANNOT EXPLAIN THE NIGHTMARE! HE did nothing that I asked... AT ALL! Then after HYSTERICALLY crying for an hour my sister made me an appt with her girl- she did a really pretty french twist with sweeping bangs- just what I wanted. It looked really pretty- then a day later I felt like maybe all up would be too much so I went for my THIRD trial... yes #3- & had it done half up half down- LOVED IT! Then I tried the dress on with it & my FH says all up..... WHAT DO I DO?!?!?! Should I just wear it up since he likes it?!?! I thought I would feel overdone with it all up... I am on my third hair trial & I AM NOT A BRIDE YET!!!!!!!!
ETA: Here are the back shots- the front is the same on both. After about 2 hours the waves started to look pretty limp-- which one do you like?
did you take any pictures? I think I would do all up but that is just me

Lol, you're off too an early start!! :)
Well I say all up only because I personally like it better and I think it holds up better BUT mainly b/c you mentioned the dress being very Audrey I think the hair all up would complete the look... I'm sure you'll look great!

I like it both ways but I think all up will go nicely with the dress.
WOW!! Your gonna be in the cookoo house if you let these things get to you! Believe me there will be much more to worry about in the future!
Take a deep breath and wear your hair up. FH likes it, people in the store liked it. Who cares if it's a little overdone. It's your e-party! Enjoy a little attention! Besides, you have a gorgeous face so don't worry about it. From the description of the dress you' ll be a knockout!
I say YOU'LL be a knockout...don't go knocking anyone else out!

Ok- I am sooo afraid my face will look fat all up- my face is so round! YOu don't think Up will make me look like all face? I felt like down was softer--- FH can't helt pn that front- if he says I look fat I'd kill him!!!

Your face doesn't look round in your picture. I'd say that the bangs will help break up any roundness, and for Audrey Hepburn, I'm definitely saying french twist.

I think all up because if you get all hot then you wont have to worry about your hair getting in the way, also if you are going for an Audrey look, she wore it all up!
