bridgeview?

I am still on the search for a RH...just wondering what everyone thought of Bridgeview Yacht Club? It looks pretty, but I haven't heard too much about it.

Also, what was anyone quoted there for? I am planning on getting married July 2010 Saturday Afternoo

I've been there for parties, but never a wedding. It's very pretty, but a bit out of the way if you have people coming from farther away, like NYC, Westchester or NJ.

i live in queens and actually getting to bridgeview is alot easier for me than many other LI RH's are. I can get there in 15 mins. I just get on the van wyck and after just a few exits its nassau expressway and then within a few mins im in long beach.

I have been to a wedding at bridgeview. The place looked beautiful, they did a great job and the food was delicious. I went to a wedding there in november of 07 but since then they have renovated even more and i heard they did a great job, dh's best friend just booked it for november of 09 and told us about all the changes. They're not gonna do the club there anymore and strictly do weddings and other similar events

I've been to a wedding there and it was very pretty! The food was great, atmosphere was nice, & bars were in each corner!

There is one thing I would sugget looking out for...

1. The wedding was in the dead of winter and although they cover everything with tents and bring in heaters...there was still quite a draft by our table. If you're not looking for winter...then obviously not an issue...
