Bridgeview Brides question
Which hotel did you book? I was thinking of booking the Hampton Inn in Rockville Centre. Does anyone know if they have a bar in the hotel for an after party?

Nope they don't. We did the best western, down the block on sunrise in rvc. $149 a night. All the rooms and lobby were just redone this spring so it's muchhhh nicer than it used to be. They have an Italian restaurant attached. The restaurant is not owned by the hotel but the owner works with u and will keep the bar open for after hours if u want! We are the weekend before you!

I forget what they quoted us but the Allegria in August was waaaaaay too expensive. I couldn't feel comfortable asking our guests to pay that much. If it was winter pricing all year I def would have went there in a heartbeat!

Bridgeview Brides question - Long Island Weddings
The Allegria was WAY too expensive for my guests, so we booked both the Hampton Inn AND the Best Western. The Hampton Inn doesn't have a bar for an after party, but the Best Western has a lot to offer. I have had A LOT of problems booking things with the Best Western though... they have not been good about getting back to me and my family, which is sad, because they have a good place with great things to offer. My best advice? Look into it ASAP! If you have any specific questions, feel free to FM me!!!

I booked the Hampton Inn RVC. It was very clean, they gave out my OOT bags with no problems. The only thing I found was that the person you're supposed to deal with for the room block was not very responsive. I had much better luck when I called and spoke to the girl at the front desk (tia).they include breakfast afterwards and it was very good!

Bridgeview Brides question - Long Island Weddings
We currently have blocks reserved at holiday inn express in lynbrook and at the allegria. I'm have second thoughts since I know it would be much easier to just have one hotel. I feel like the allegria is wayyyy too much to ask my guests to spend and the holiday inn has no bar. I need to drive by holiday inn and see how close the nearest bars are.

They are not far from the bars but def not walking distance. I live in the area. Best western is walking distance from the bars for sure.

Did anyone look at the Long Beach Hotel? They have an awesome bar and it's cheaper than Allegria. I've been to the bar and saw the Lobby, it's really nice but I never saw the rooms

I heard the rooms were not redone at all. They just painted them and have new furniture, but, they are pretty small. I didn't look in person tho, just inquired online. Plus I believe they were pricey too,mat least during the summer months.Welcome New Vendors
