Bridgeview or Long Beach Brides-- Hotel Suggestions?
Happy Friday! I'm not from this area and in a couple weeks I need to start looking at hotels for my family and other out of town guests. Almost a year! Yay! Which hotels are you using? I'm going to look at the Best Western, Hampton Inn, and Holiday Inn Express in Rockville Centre. I was thinking of calling Allegria just to confirm that they are probably WAY out of the price I'm looking for. I'd like a hotel under $200 (I'd love around $150 but I think that's not going to happen in LI, near the beach in the summer!). Any other places/suggestions to look? I'd like to keep the hotel close and I DEFINITELY want free breakfast. I have friends who used hotels like 20-30 mins away. Long Island just sucks for hotels! Every other place has tons and tons of rooms close by. Can you let me know what quotes you got and if you get a free bridal suite or a free room with a certain amount of rooms booked? I want to book the suite the night before my wedding (Saturday) for me and the bridesmaids to stay in and then the night of our wedding (Sunday) for me and my FH. I'm hoping we can get a better rate b/c most of the guests will be staying Sunday night and not Sat, but we need rooms both nights as well. Much appreciated!!

Hey! I had a lot of trouble with this decision myself. We ended up blocking rooms at the Holiday Inn express. We originally had rooms at the allegria but cancelled them because $250 a night is ridiculous. Holiday Inn Express i believe came out to like $175 a night and they do have free breakfast. We had to pay for our room but they do have suites available, that's what we went with. I hope that helps :)

Sounds good! In my original research when we first got engaged (my mom is VERY concerned about the hotel situation because she and my dad are not from here and neither are their friends and most of my family)the Best Western woman I spoke to was VERY nice. We'll probably check out all three. I think they're all around $175 unfortunately. I wonder if anyone found anything different.

Hampton Inn in RVC is awesome. Stayed for a friends wedding and booked it the ours as well. Allegria is gorgeous but the rooms are above 200 and you have to pay a % of whatever rooms aren't booked. The also don't offer a free breakfast which Hampton gave us as well.
