My cousin who is in my BP just emailed me that she's not coming w/her husband (she's in NC) and that she'd like to bring a friend. I pretty much can't stand the friend and don't want her at my wedding if I can help it - I know this girl from way back. But I feel bad telling my cousin not to bring who she wants.
What would you do ???

How did the invitation read? I'm sure you put to Mr & Mrs Friend, right? Then that means she is invited with her husband. You have the choice of letting her bring someone else in his place since you didn't leave it open by saying '& guest'. If you really can't stand this friend then I would tell her the truth and ask her not to bring her. HTH!!

Honestly, I'd just let her bring the guest. There will be so much going on that day, that you'll barely realize that she's there.

I was thinking the same thing. Since she's in the BP and coming from OOT, it would be the generous thing to do, and you probably won't really notice her.
