Do you do this? I would love to bring my mom! I already have pictures of what I want and she agrees with them so there won't b differing opinions. What do you girls think? Will the makeup artist think this is weird if I show up w my mom?

mine was at my moms house. FW went to her hair trial & is planning on going to her MU trial with her mom

I have had moms, future hubbies, siblings and friends come with brides to their makeup trial at my house!! As long as it is not more than 2-3 people, than its totally normal and always welcome! Double check with your makeup artist, but I don't see it being a problem!

I brought my mom!! It made the experience better because I knew she would give me her honest opinion. It was also nice because we all clicked, so seeing your makeup artist interact positively with people who she will be working with made it definite that I wanted her to be a part of my day!

Great question! I never thought about this, but just assumed that I'd go alone. It would be great if my mom or MOH could come with.

My mom came to my trials. Not weird at all, and it's a great second look to see if the artist is doing good since you can't see yourself half the time.

I had two makeup trials and my mom came to both. It's not weird at all. At both trials the MUA also spoke to my mom about what kind of makeup she wanted for the wedding day.

To any trial I do if it's not at my mom's house I'm dragging her with me! She's going to honest and tell you if it's too much or not enough.

I might take my mom and MOH with me. Or maybe FH if I go somewhere in Nassau since he would probably drive me. But yes, I think it's fine to take someone with you whose opinion you value. Ask the hair/makeup person first, to make sure.

My makeup artist asked me if I was bringing someone and I didn't even think of taking anyone with me. She said a min. of 2-3 people as the room she worked out of in her home was small. I went Solo but I brought my mom to my hair trial.
