I am currently registering for all this baby stuff I need, and I like the Britax car seats. I can't decide between the Marathon and Roundabout. From what I can tell, the only difference is the Marathon can hold a child who weighs up to 65 pounds (and it costs about $50 more). Does anyone have either of these and can tell me what you prefer? Thanks!
I have both the marathon and the roundabout and I like the marathon much better. It is bigger, roomier and from what I can tell much more comfortable. They did just come out with a new one called the wizard that I think has some new safety precaution having something to do with side impact protection. But if choosing between the other 2, I would definately go with the marathon.
I have a Marathon and I think its better just because it can accommodate larger children (weight and height wise). Emma is only 2 1/2 and too small for a booster but too tall to be in the Roundabout. Im glad I bought the Marathon.
I have two marathons and love them. I think the roundabout is supposed to be really good too but not as big as the marathon? so it also depends how much room you have in your car
We have the Marathon and like it. I was going to get a Roundabout for the second car, but I might just get another Marathon.

Thanks everyone! I registered for the Marathon and thought about switching to the Roundabout, but it seems the clear preference is the Marathon. I'm going to stick with my first choice.
I have both. The Marathon is in our main car. The roundabout is in our secondary car. 100% I love the Marathon better. It is roomier, will last us longer and is easy to get her in and out of.
