Anyone have this seat? I am hearing that it is the latest and greatest by Britax with more side impact protection.
I have researched and know all the mins/maxs with weight and height and safety issues and stuff. I thought if I get the Marathon, we will be good til around 4yrs old and booster time. DS will likely be a tall drink of water. Maybe I should think about the Wizard?
Aidan is 3.5 months and will need to move out of his Graco Snugride real soon!

My dd is in the 90% in her height from day 1. I was in BRU recently and put her in the Roundabout... Her head is at the top of the seat already. Shes 27 months old. Im glad I opted for the Marathon giving us those precious inches!

Re: Britax Wizard
I have a roundabout and a marathan. They don't make the roundabout anymore. i used the Graco snugride until Molly was 6 months old and I am glad that I did. I miss it terribly since I know have to wake her up to bring her inside the house. I love our Marathan and that is the one in the car I normally drive. It is a great seat. the roundabout is a bit smaller but still a great seat.

We also have the Marathon and recently moved Andrew into it (he's not yet 4 months, but is already 26' and 17-1/2 lbs). I believe they still sell the Roundabout because I saw it in the stores recently when the Marathons were recalled. It is slightly smaller than the Marathon.
We had originally planned to buy the Wizard, but read too many 'compalints,' if you will, that the side impact head restaints were too confining. And being that Andrew is a big boy to begin with, we didn't want him to be uncomfortable with that since you can't remove them.
I would suggest the Marathon. And you can get it cheaper than the $249 in BRU and BBB by shopping around online. They go for $199-$219 with no shipping costs or sales tax. We were very happy with our online purchase.

oh boy, thanks I did not know that the head padding could not be removed. It looks like it can be taken out as they get older.
I think I might just go with the Marathon.
Thanks ladies!

Re: Britax Wizard
BRU told me that they are not selling anymore Roundabouts and that whatever is already out there is all that they will be selling...Of course this is the 19 year old who works there and may not have all the correct info.
