Is it true a strapless dress is the best style for brides with broad shoulders. I was told this by a few bridal consultants. WHat do you ladies think?

I actually just recently read that in a bridal magazine, so I guess it may be true, I have broad shoulders and I ordered a strapless dress, and wasn't even thinking of getting one. I tried on all differnet styles and the strapless looked the best.

broa shoulders also look good in a halter -but those dresses are harder to find
also a strapless that they add spagetti straps too would have the same look for your shoulderas a regular strapless

Thanks for the feedback. I actually love strapless and wouldn't have thought that I could get away with it. I will also look at the spaghetti straps and see how that goes.

I'm very broad shouldered and I got a strapless dress. it just seemed to look the best - good luck

I have broad shoulders too- built like a linebacker! The most flattering styles for me are the strapless.

I am very broad shouldered and have a wide back also and I got a halter dress, here is a pic.
