We have always been HUGE broadway people but I am stuck for some reason for this mothers day. I wanted to get my mom tixs to a concert but nothing is really out there that she would enjoy.
My next idea is a broadway play/musical...but what would she like? We have seen so many, so I guess you can just give your opinion and then I will choose from there. TIA!

Re: Broadway and/or concerts for mom?
Michael Buble is playing at the Beacon theater. I saw him 2 years ago and he was great. He sings all the old classics by Frank Sinatra and others, similar to Rod Stewarts remakes.

All Shook Up was really good... so was Little Women.. and I've heard that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Light in the Piazaa are supposed to be good also.
I think there is alot of good stuff out there now that is good to see with mom!

We're doing this for my mom probably for either GlenGarry Glen Ross, Dame Edna or Sweet Charity.

I definitely say Wicked. It was an awesome show. I actually just saw Fiddler on the Roof last weekend and it was excellent as well.

Does it have to be a musical? We saw The Glass Menagerie the other night. It was fantastic. Jessica Lange is an amazing actress.
