OMG - what years were you there??? I think you're younger than me. I was class of '96 (so I was there '92-'96). ... I'm 28, geez graduated H.S. so long ago!!!

Well, I live in Yonkers but the Bronx is one exit away from me on the Deegan. I have a question for you Bronx girls do you know where you are getting your makeup done? I was kind of hoping that someone knew of a more local make-up as well as hair stylist. And what if I go with a makeup artist that comes from a distance like let say LI, do we pay for distance if we book? I actually like Oksana's and Mia's work. But do you guys know anyone else?

Pam I'm in the same boat you are!!! we gotta keep in touch to share info on makeup and hair...i know the vendors in LI are amazing but I doubt they'd come to where we are!!

It is good to know that I am not the only one with this situation. I think they would come from LI but I am sure it would probably cost a little more b/c of the distance. But I will definitely keep you posted if I find or hear about someone local.

I'm excited!!! I ordered the Yellow pages for the Bronx & Manhattan and I got them yesterday! I'm gonna go down the list to try to find a hair person to do a trial i figured i wouldn't even ask here cause everyone seems to be on the island! woo hoo

Ladies, I'm using Mia and she's coming to me - same price as LI ladies!!! Contact her - if you're further away (Yonkers) or wherever, I think she might charge a minimal charge like $.30 per mile over the first 50 miles (it's on her website but I can't remember the exact amount off the top of my head)
