Brooch Bouquets?

Brooch Bouquets?

What do you all think of brooch bouquets?

I really love the look and it's nice that you can save it forever, but fresh flowers are beautiful too. I'm going for a more glamourous couture look with my dress and venue so it would probably look good but I can't seem to decide.

Anyone ever use one instead of fresh flowers?

On the weddingbee website, there are many blocgs on how to make them. I love the bouquets that have flowers and brooches with them. Maybe that is something you would want. It would be a mixture of both.

I have (slowly) started to make one and they are really easy to make (and I'm NOT a crafty person). There are some great YouTube videos that show you how to do it. I have more than a year until our wedding, so I'm making a trial bouquet to decide whether I want a full brooch bouquet or brooches and flowers. They can be expensive though, since you will need about 25-30 brooches for a small/medium bouquet, so I suggest hitting up family members and friends for brooches.

All great ideas... i love the idea of doing both fresh flowers and real flowers, but the flowers don't preserve well.

if anyone has links to or images of mixed brooch and fresh flower bouquets please post/forward! Thanks!!

If you use the right brooches believe me it will look as couture as your dress. You should look on etsy or just google and you will see the variety. Good Luck!
