Brooklyn Botanical Garden/Old Westbury

Does anyone know if its worth scheduling wedding or epics at either place in november??? is there anything there at that time?

I believe that the Botanical Gardens all plant flowers through out the year.

You could give them a call..they may have pics from the winter months or go take a look this November

I am not sure about Old Westbury... but I know that Brooklyn Botanical Gardens is gorgeous year round-- there is always something there!

My FSIL took pictures BBG in October and the flowers were beautiful!

owg is nice yr round u can even take shot sinside as well. if it rains, u can cancel up to 3 hrs b4 ur sched appt.

I think i'm using old westbury gardens for my wedding pics and i am getting married in jan. I think in Nov you will get beautiful pics. Check their website. If outside doesnt work out their indoors pics are great also

You can def get good pics at OWG in November. In fact there was a bride who posted her review pretty recently, she got married at East Wind and took her pics at OWG. I loved it, oh I just remembered I think I notebooked it. I will try to find it for you and add it in here.

Also, I've never been to Brooklyn Botanical Gardens but I bet you can get great pics there too, I'm just biased to OWG bc we're booked there haha.

She does mention that it was cold and they went inside but they did take a few outdoors, it's worth taking the chance I think.

I went to look at the BBG for our weding venue, and we saw the photo albums of what the grounds look like through the year! the place is goregous any time of year. and looks completely different depending on the season im sure if you go there you can see fall photos.
