... I need your help! My mother lives in Brooklyn (in the Marine Park area) and she wants to go shopping for MOB dress. Can you recommend anywhere to go? She's already checked out Macy's but didn't find anything. She's willing to travel around Brooklyn if you know of any good places. TIA!!!

Lotus Bridal on Avenue U, near 18th Street has some MOB dresses, and it is a great family run store -- thats where I ordered my gown, based on my mother's friends' recommendations. Also, my mother loves Eleanor Shain in Mill basin -- its pricey though.

she might want to try Lestan on Ralph Ave. (not too far from Kings Plaza). They have a lot of stuff and the prices seem pretty reasonable.

my mom got hers at Lotus Bridal. She actually got a long BM dress.

My mom got her MOB dress at Alissa's Bridal on East 54th Street. I believe they are a new vendor on here. My BM got there's from Lotus. I would give both a shot. Ask for Miriam if you got to Alissa's she is the best!

Lestan has a large MOB selection but they are kinda pricey. We ordered the bridesmaids dresses from them and I know many other girls who have too.

did you check out doris or valentina already? they had a decent selection... not sure about prices, but they are brand name MOB dresses - which tend to be a little pricey

I really didn't like Doris, i felt like It was @ discount thrift store.
