My GF told me to check out Aldo and Sal-Mar for photo & video?
Any ideas for flowers, one GF used Marine another used Paradise?
Other DJ/Band options?
The Riviera recommends Elite Photography, they looked good too!
Already stressing!

I used elite for photography and I loved them. Angel was awesome. My brother and sister used them as well. Here's an example of their work:

I'm not a fan of dash of class, not always so reliable. we went with five star entertainment.. great price and very reliable. DJs and MCs are so personable!
i highly recommend angel at elite or divine studios
i like marine, don't like paradise... we are using madison florists on kings hwy... speak with george.

I used Sweet Blossoms for flowers and they are amazing. My centerpieces were incredible. I highly recommend them.

For photographer I would recommend Modern Photography they are located in Brooklyn; they seemed great to me do a search on them I know a girl here used them and their work was pretty amazing. I did check them out but decided to go with someone else.

I am getting married on the 13th of Sep in Bklyn and my photographer is coming in from Cali. Her prices aren't much more than New York prices...believe it or not. Maybe she would stay the extra few days for your wedding.

I don't know any of the vendors you posted about ....sorry!!! but I highly recommend Flowers By Emil on 18th avenue; he is great!!!! Ask for Carmine He has great products, reliable, and great prices. He also works with your budget and provides plenty of recommendations.

I understand that u r getting married in Bk , but u dont have to choose BK vendors only. Look anywhere especially LI. I saw Dash of class at a bridal showcase, i wasnt impressed, they seemed ok. You def need to check out Aldo and salmar, its depends on your budget, they do nice work. Im using True-Love, but the one in queens. Im still checking out florists especially local florists, bc some wedding florists are ridiculous with their prices, i was shocked. Keep looking, get as much as quotes until u find the right one. Good luck !!

Thanks for the advice; seems like a lot of good floral options. I really don't feel like treking all over but I figure a good DJ and good photo/video that is familiar with our church and hall will most likely be from BK. I am most concerned with these 2 vendors as they book fast and thr ight DJ/Band will keep the party popping and the video and photos will be the memories for a lifetime.

A friend of mine used Dash of Class and she raved about them, but the Staten Island location, I didn't go wth them b/c I wanted a latin dj. My boss used Marine Florist. I was told by his wife that they were pricey, but the flowers did come out really nice when i saw the pics.
I checked out Flower Paradise on Coney Island. I thought they were pricey for their lack of creativity. All their sample pics where samples that looked like they were from the 80's. So I went w/Flower Michele instead I am happy w/my decision. I also checked out Aldo's and they had really nice albums covers, but I didn't like the fact that he wouldn't give us digital parent albums. You should check out Precious Photography they are located on 20 ave and I believe 63 street. They seem good the only thing is that they would not neogiate w/us Good Luck.

I just booked the Riveria also!! My famaily has always used aldo on 18th ave. i am def going to be checking them out and i heard they redid there studio so def go there. as for dash of class i hired them for my engagement party and they did a fantastic job everything i wanted they did. Joe z is who i hired from them.

My firend just got married in April and used Aldo. He takes very good traditional style photography. And his prices are reasonable. They got Photo and Video with 3DVDS and 3 albums for 5k. But, if you are looking for photojournal style photos, he may not be for you.

I'm not a fan of Aldo's. They are drill sergeants. I've been in 2 weddings as a bridesmaids with them and I hated them sooooo much!!!
