There are no michaels or ac moores in brooklyn. I need to get materials to make my cake monogram. Anyone know of places in brooklyn I can go to for silver paint and rhinestones???

Too bad Ragshop doesn't exist anymore. If you can go to Staten Island, there is a Michael's and Joanns.
Yeah I would have to agree with the above- go to Michaels in Staten Island- it's huge and really helpful you'll find all sorts of stuff. Go to the one right by the Staten Island mall then go shopping =)

There is a place on Flatbush Ave (near Kings Plaza) called Save a thon
2452 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11234. they are like a rag shop

There's a hobby shop on West 5th Street and Avenue U.
There is also a store, I'm not sure the name, but i believe it is located on 12th avenue and 86th street. They have bridal thinkgs hangining in the window.

If you're near canal st you can also go into manhattan and go to pearl art supply store.
