not an 06'er...BUT me love Roll n Roaster!!!!!!!

me and another 06 bride (dom n nic) had a thread going on the NWR board a couple of months ago about that place!!!!

I'm obessed with that place! I live on LI and my Fi and I always go!! I've been going there since I was little my dad used to own a billard hall ......Sheapshead sp? Bay Billard...i think it was called.........

Thinking bout going to R&R tonight..i dont feel like cooking

Do you live in brooklyn? Or on LI

I lived in Brooklyn up until last August and everytime on our way home from kareoke at Coney Island, we would stop by Roll n Roaster!! A long wait, but the food is the best!!! And the sweet potatoes!! MMMMM

Now I need to drag my FH back to L & B Spumoni Gardens for the pizza, he had some and wants some more, along with Grimaldi's pizza in DUMBO.

Brooklyn Bride right here - there's a R&R in the city too! Right around the corner from Webster Hall!

FI lives literally five minutes from R&R and we're constantly there! LOVE THEIR RINGS w/CHEZ and LEMONADE!!!

I am embarrassed to say that I have never been to Roll & Raster- at least that I can remember....perhaps I should check it out, though it is FAR from me, I think. where is it?

however, L & B and Grimaldis I LOVE

LOL - I had this conversation with some people from work not too long ago. I am not from brooklyn - i am from ozone park queens - and it ws always a 10 minute ride on the belt pkwy to roll-n-roaster - i actually went home and B**ched @ my FH that we never go there anymore after i was reminded how good it was.

i would get cheese on ANYTHING (it alwys made it better) and you had to get either a lemonade or iced tea.....at least i had too.

i always tell people - i am not familiar with brooklyn except for roll-n-roaster and brennan & carr. ( i really like to eat)

I was born & raised in Brooklyn and yes, I can definately vouch for Roll N Roaster.. so good.. You can add cheez to anything you pleez!!!

Roll n Roaster is exit 9 I believe off the Belt, you can either take the Knapp St exit and head West or the Coney Island Ave exit and head east.

As for L&B that is the Stillwell Ave North exit (Exit 6?)

Grimaldi's is under the Brooklyn Bridge by the ice cream place and Jacques Torres (?) chocolate!!! There's always a line because it's a big tourist trap for people coming off the ferry and double decker buses and can only seat so many people!!!

BTW, Born in East Flatbush, raised in Starrett City, lived in Boro Park, Sea Gate, Bergen Beach, Marine Park and Mill Basin before moving out here to LI!!! (forgot to include Astoria and Ozone Park) LOL

Love it their.. They have the best food:)

LOVE RnR and now that there is one in the city those late night 'drinking' cravings its open till 3am oh boy watch out.

Okay thanks ladies. Now I have a craving a a roast beef sandwich with cheese & lemonade. I wonder why.

Girls I'm so glad i started that thread, I was craving R&R that night and when I tell my friends they think we are crazy for driving all the way to Brooklyn, they have no idea!!!

I would drive 2 hours if i had to!

The Ice Cream shop under the Brooklyn Bridge is great also.......
